Cristina Gómez Suarez

Graduated in Biochemistry from the University of Oviedo (Spain) with the completion of the graduation thesis project at Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC), in the Netherlands, in the Erasmus program. Doctorate at the Department of Microbiology at the University of Oviedo, Spain. Research awarded with the “Premio extraordinário de doctorado”  (Extraordinary Doctorate Prize) as the best doctoral thesis dissertation in 2011 given by the University of Oviedo. From 2012 to 2014, I worked as an R&D Manager in Danone - Indonesia. 2014-2016 I was a business developer at SENAI Educational Consultancy, a consultancy that promotes collaborations between Indonesian and Spanish higher education institutions. 2016-2018, I was degree director and teacher at Indonesian International Institute for Life Sciences Jakarta (i3L). Where I developed and implemented the first master's program offered by the university. In 2018, I was a director and professor of the degree in Biomedicine, creating a work team and a research program. In May 2021 I started my postdoctoral program at the School of Applied Mathematics in FGV, where I work in public health and environmental projects. Currently developing a syndemic project in the city of Rio de Janeiro.
