He holds a degree in Economic Sciences from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (1997), a master's degree in Mathematical Economics and Econometrics - Université de Toulouse I Sciences Sociales (2000) and a PhD in Economics - Université de Toulouse I Sciences Sociales (2007). He works as a planning and research technician at the Institute for Applied Economic Research (IPEA), where he holds the position of Coordinator of Regulation and Institutional Design Studies. He is currently Coordinator of the Undergraduate Program in Economic Sciences at EPGE Brazilian School of Economics and Finance (FGV EPGE).
