Matheus Secco Torres da Silva holds a PhD in Mathematics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio), where he conducted his research under the guidance of Professor Simon Griffiths. After completing a postdoctoral degree at the Czech Academy of Sciences in the Czech Republic, he worked in the financial market, working for Goldman Sachs and Giant Steps. He currently works at ASA Investments. His academic interests focus on the areas of Combinatorics and Probability. During high school and undergraduate studies, he participated in several international Mathematics Olympiads. Today, he actively collaborates with the Brazilian Mathematics Olympiad (OBM), contributing to the development of tests and leading Brazilian delegations in international competitions.
