He holds a doctorate in Business Administration from FGV EBAPE, a master's degree in Administration from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1996), a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Military Engineering Institute (1987) and in Mathematics from the University of Rio de Janeiro (1991). He is currently a professor at FGV EMAp. Experienced in the areas of marketing and retail and his areas of interest include quantitative methods in management science.
